It Sure Nuff is Okay to Laugh

As usual, after I woke up today, I prayed, read some scripture and today’s devotional in Joyce Meyer’s book “new day new you: 366 Devotionals for Enjoying Everyday Life” titled It’s Okay to Laugh. While reading, I was pondering about a lot of things that I need to take care of and some decisions that I need to make. Although the entire devotional was great to read and the scripture reference of Psalm 32:11, the following paragraph really caught my eye and I agree is very true:

“Something we Christians need to do more of is laugh. We tend to be so heavy about everything—our sin, expecting perfection from ourselves, our growth in God, our prayer life, the gifts of the Spirit, and memorizing Bible verses. We carry around such heavy burdens. If we would just laugh a little more—be of good cheer, “cheer up” —we would find that a little bit of laughter makes that load much lighter.”

And, after cracking up at some Facebook posts I am reminded that It Sure Nuff is Okay to Laugh...
